It’s the time of year that really impacts the farm. It is harvest season. Of course, we’ve been harvesting since May and we’ll continue to do so into December. But August is a time of bounty.
These harvests will continue to grow until the first frost of the season, usually early October if we’re lucky. The farmers at Montalbano Farms worked hard to get to this point, and we have lots yet to do. Volunteers are always wanted and appreciated too.
