June has brought some wonderful weather to the farm in Sandwich. The cool, wet days of April and May and behind us (well, mostly). The days are getting long and the skies are full of sunshine. All of this makes for some fantastic growing weather.
We’ve finished planting tomatoes and peppers and potatoes and that’s a big relief. We continue planting, mostly every week, through September so the job is not done but we’re on our way. Our main tasks now are to weed and water and harvest.
We are still taking new CSA members too. Our farm needs about 20 more families to make this season our best ever. If you’ve ever though about joining a CSA, our custom share program offers some great flexibility and choice.
